Get the full Mini Swift Kart Engine Kit! You can choose between the Mini Swift Header or the Micro Swift (Restricted) Exhaust Header. This kit comes with a wiring harness, battery mount, strap and clamps, exhaust pipe, carburetor, header, electric start Burton steering wheel mount plate, airbox, airbox filter, and filter clamp. The battery is sold separately. The Swift pipe now has a welded EGT bung straight from the factory. The bung can work with either the Big Nut EGT sensor style or the 5mm external thread small EGT sensor. But note, the pipe isn't ready - out - of - the - box for either bung. For the Big Nut Style EGT, you'll need to drill a small hole at the bottom of the pipe bung. For the 5mm External Thread Style EGT sensor, you have to grind or cut down the EGT bung to the 'flat' and then drill the center. Sometimes, you need to clean the threads with a 5mm tap after cutting and drilling. Comet can prep the bung for you. Just select the option from the dropdown menu. The EGT sensor is sold separately.
Using this IAME Parilla 60cc Swift engine kit is a great way to power up your mini kart. First, when you get the kit, decide which exhaust header you want to use - the Mini Swift Header or the Micro Swift (Restricted) Exhaust Header. Then, start assembling all the included parts like the wiring harness, battery mount, and so on. Remember, the battery and EGT sensor are not included, so you'll need to buy them separately. When it comes to the EGT bung on the Swift pipe, if you choose the Big Nut Style EGT, drill a small hole in the bottom of the bung before inserting the sensor. For the 5mm External Thread Style EGT sensor, you'll have to do some grinding and drilling work. You can also let Comet prep the bung for you. As for maintenance, regularly check all the parts, especially the airbox filter. Replace it when it gets dirty to keep the engine running smoothly. Also, make sure to clean the exhaust pipe and carburetor from time to time to avoid any blockages.
