Using this IAME Mini Swift Exhaust Pipe is a breeze. First, decide which EGT sensor style you want to use - the Big Nut Style or the 5mm External Thread Style. If you go with the Big Nut Style, take a small drill and make a hole at the bottom of the pipe bung. This will allow you to insert the sensor. For the 5mm External Thread Style, use a grinder or cutter to get the EGT bung to the flat part. Then drill the center of the bung gently so the sensor can fit through. Remember not to make the hole too big and remove the inner 5mm threads. After cutting and drilling, you might need to use a 5mm tap to clean the threads. If you don't want to do this prep work yourself, select the option on the dropdown menu and Comet will do it for you. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the EGT bung for any signs of wear or damage. Also, keep an eye on the overall condition of the exhaust pipe. Since a freight fee is charged for this item due to its size, handle it with care during installation to avoid any issues.
